Welcome to Senritsu, Safire's small and quaint huge and glamorous paradise where she relaxes with a carton of ice cream, sips cold milk tea, and doesn't offer you any. If you want some, you'll just have to get to know her better. Then she might offer you some. Leave her a message and she just might warm up to you. No ice cream for you though.
From now on, entries with an asterisk (*) next to the title will be continued at her LiveJournal, which is locked. Add her?

| Eww. School. DDD: |
OMG. ALSKDJALSKDJ. I'm close to dying, and it's only the third day of school. DDD: All of my classes are pretty eh and assign quite a bit of homework. Here's my schedule:
- Period 1: World Studies/Social Studies
- Period 2: World Studies/English
- Period 3: Pre-Calculus Honors
- Period 4: Symphonic Band
- Period 5: Spanish 3
- Period 6: Yearbook
- Period 7: Chemistry Honors
Blaaah. My schedule's all loaded up, and pretty much the only relaxing periods are symphonic band (which is pretty much Colorguard) and Yearbook. ALSKJDLKJASLD I've also been having a bit of schedule problems, since as you can see, there's no PE class on it and we're required to have two years of PE. Colorguard and band used to count for PE credits, but this year they decided to change it all and now we have to get our PE credits some other way. D< I got really annoyed, since it just happened to be one of the years which I needed PE credits (sophomore year). My schedule would be almost perfect if only I didn't need PE! But today, my friend Tori thought of the best idea in the world. I'm going to drop Symphonic Band, take PE Athletics (which is pretty much you do a sport for credits except you can only have six classes to sign up for it), and do a sport, preferably badminton, though if I don't make it, then I'll do gymnastics (which I suck at, but Nana said that the team sucks so much already that it won't make much of a difference if I join. And it's cutless. xDD But I'd much rather do badminton. Oh yeah, I haven't finished. Since I would have a hole fourth period, I'll just go to the band room anyway and do what the rest of the Colorguard is doing. xDD I love Tori for coming up with such an ingenious idea. Now all I have to do is ask the band director and the guidance counselor if this would work and make the badminton team. xDD
Anyway, back to my classes. World CORE (social studies and English) sucks. It's so boring and it sucks to be with the same people for two periods, especially if you don't have any good friends in it. D< At least I do know a couple of people... :D Otherwise, so far we haven't been given much homework, but you never know since it's only the third day.
My math class is pretty bad too. Not only do I have the teacher who gives the hardest tests (he's actually the only Pre-Cal teacher), but he also decided that we're going to be starting with calculus. D< I have not understood a thing he said so far that's math related, so I'm pretty much screwed. All I got is that we're doing limits and I don't know what the heck they are. All right, I can understand it a little, but not much. DDD: I'm so screwed... DD:
I'm going to skip my blurb about symphonic band, since we hardly do anything in it anyway except for practice flagwork (or ID for the people on ID).
Spanish pretty much sucks too, since even though I'm pretty sure I'm going to learn something this year (unlike last year), this teacher speaks Spanish most of the time. No, I can understand it, but it's the replying that gets me. I can't say anything because of my incompotent teacher last year. I forgot everything. D: At least we're doing a review in class about stuff we learned from Spanish 1 and 2. :D
Oh yeah~ We have to do this little translation thing with an online translator, and this is what I typed in it:
I’m Safire and I like to eat junk food. I particularly like to eat sweets and chips, preferably with sour cream, but we never have that in our house because my mom doesn’t buy it. Sweets basically include baked goods like cinnamon rolls and cake. Sponge cake is always good, but I also like ice cream cake, because I love ice cream. I am also a tiny bit of a chocoholic, and adore almost everything chocolate related, though I don’t particularly like dark chocolate because it’s too bitter for my liking. I usually don’t have enough chocolate to satisfy my daily craving. I’ll stop talking about food now.
This is what it spat out after two translations:
i Safire, I like to eat junk food. I like to eat candy and chips, and yogurt is best, but we have never been in our house, because my mother did not buy it. Basically, baked goods, including candy, such as cinnamon rolls and cakes. Cookies are always good, but I also like ice cream cake, because I love ice cream. I am also a bit of a chocoholic, I love almost all of the relevant chocolate, but I do not particularly like dark chocolate, because it is too painful for my taste. They usually do not have enough chocolate to satisfy the desire of my newspaper. I will now stop talking about food.
xDDD I wonder how sour cream became yogurt, sponge cake became cookies, and daily craving became newspaper. xDDDD
Yearbook's pretty good so far since we haven't done anything yet. xDD There are a whole ton of new people, or as I like to call them, new slaves, mostly freshmen. xDD They'll have to do most of the slave work, but that's okay with me, since I'm not a slave anymore~ 8DDD Other than that, nothing much happened. xDD
Chemistry Honors is the second thing that's really getting to me this year (no duh, it's an honors class). It's not exactly hard, but there's so much homework I'll end up drowning in it soon. DD: I wrote four pages of stuff (single sided) on Monday, two pages of stuff on Tuesday, and thank God we have no homework today. :DDDD My hand's still hurting from writing so much. My pencils are going to run out of lead really quickly...
Yesterday in Chem, our teacher demonstrated a lab on dissolving copper with nitric acid, and it was really cool~ (yeah, I'm easily entertained by dangerous chemicals, so I have to tell everyone this) There was brown gas everywhere (or in the fumehood at least) and the water in fishtank connected to the flask with the nitric acid and pennies went into the flask and turned blue because of the copper ions~ It was so cool~
Oh. Today, we saw the cutest video that the teachers made themselves about dial-o-gram scales. xDD They had a bottle of Calcium... Nitrate I think moving by itself and putting itself onto the scale of the dial-o-gram. xDDDD I know, I'm a bad explainer, but it was really cute~ xDD It wasn't animated though. I mean it was, but not like computer-graphics type of animation.
Blaaaah. Since I'm taking all of these classes, I really need a locker to put all my stuff in. D< I have three binders and three composition notebooks, not to mention a regular notebook and an accordion portfolio. LAKSJDL Other than that, ALKSJDLKAJSDLAKSJDLKASJLDKSJD. I'm going to be so tired this year... with the amount of homework and everything (only in the first week too!)
There's a really annoying fly in the room right now that keeps on flying in my face. I want to swat it, but it's too fast. D< My brother can kill it once he gets home. :D
